Hey Dr. Ive heard that we shouldn't use any kind of tool for cleaning our ears such as cotton buds, spiral ear-pick spoon, swab ear wax remover. Why is it unsafe. Please, please explain further. I've been using those things.What should we use to clean ears then?
This is my first time commenting on your channel I follow your channel all the time. I am a 70-year-old man. My doctor recommended that I drink 6 to 8 glasses of water per day . But when I do all I do is Urinate a lot. Is there anything I can do to cut that down so I don’t have to stop at every bathroom inside plus get the necessary water that I need? Thank you

When I was in the Navy my heart rate was really high! Basically it's because I was always rushing and needing to get things done and when you are going up and down the ladder-wells 8 or more times a day rushing to get things done cause you don't want to get in trouble, so my body basically thought that I needed the extra adrenaline like 24/7. Once I got out of the Navy and started doing jobs where I didn't have to rush, it's at 88 -/+.

My blood pressure is 120 on 60 (could be wrong bc it's been a while) and every time I visit the doctors they ask me if I'm OK and/or if I have issues caused by my low blood pressure. They also seem very shocked every time they see it and sometimes they retake my pressure. It made me think it's abnormal and rarely seen to have a funktioning body without symptoms of low blood pressure. My hands and feet are always cold and sometimes turn blue or purple and I would be in pain (mostly after eating and if it's already cold in the room, the drumstick is what changes colour in my hands). I'm not sure if I should seek treatment... They never advice me to get it treated after knowing that I have never fainted or had issues related to it. What do u think I should do doctor Mike?

Being a truck driver the amount of urine that is held is more like 1L to the most held is 1.5L. My `notification` of needing to go is around 750mL. I do drink a lot of water while driving (approx. 2-3L a day). I do only hold it for about 1-2 hours mmax, but is it normal to have such a large bladder? Is it just my body formulating to what I do for a career? Whem I do relieve myself I stand there soemtimes for what seems like a minute and a half. Lol

There are stretch mark creams that over time if you use them daily they can make your stretch marks lighter but only if you use the good kinds

Hello! Your content is wonderful and it's amazing to see a doctor, despite the heavy workloads, create regular content that's both educational and entertaining! I have a question. Whenever I run I get this indescribable pain all throughout my abdomen and diaphragm. It gets difficult to breathe. I'm not sure why it happens but I was wondering if it's(semi?) normal. I'm still at school age, and it happens when I run for more than a minute. It happens when I walk as well.

hii ,i really liked the video ,but actually i do have a question. well ,I'm a girl ,16 yo ,& I do have chest pain, more like in the middle to the left side ,I started being concerned because it's been now more than a year that it's happening, well I don't know if it's serious or not ,this pain doesn't last more than like 2~3 mins,sometimes for more & sometimes less, ,& it happened even during quarantine when I literally didn't do nothing but lying down watching yt ,movies or reading stuff (I mean I didn't do much physical activities ),all this for like ~3 to 4 times per month ,well at the beginning it was like once a month, then it slightly started to be more frequent. yeah I forgot ,I also do have some dizziness (& fatigue sometimes),but I don't really think it's related, well I'm not really sure but anyway . thnx for reading (/≧▽≦)/~┴┴ ,

After a surgery to remove my gallbladder I no longer had the 'go pee' feeling. It's been about 5 years now and I'm only now starting to recognize when I need to pee. I measured my morning pee once for my physiotherapists and it was 1.2 leters! I didn't have the pee feeling then either...... Only upside was that during my pregnancy I didn't need to ever run to the toilet like other pregnant women do. Thankfully my doctor just told me go every 3 hours and you should be fine.

Not sure if anyone remembers this but a few years ago when the Nintendo Wii first came out a radio station held a contest idiotically called hold your wee for a Wii. One of the contestants died. They had to drink as much as they could without urinating and one woman died of water intoxication. Drinking too much can lower sodium to dangerous levels. Some people think it's healthy to drink so much your urine is basically clear. It's not.
People with pets have a better quality of life. You can actually get a pet to help if you have mental health problems like anxiety or depression. Some dogs are trained to come to you if you have an anxiety attack. It's amazing.

I have a question for anyone to answer so when I sit for a long time I have these colorful dots like go from the outer part of my eye in until I can’t see and it will last for only like 2-3 seconds and sometimes more, sometimes it gives me headaches. When I look at walls/anything it’s not clear it’s like I see little dots, this happened everyday . Please answer this, my parents arnt concerned but I am

I'm not a doctor but it sounds like maybe your blood pressure is falling when you stand. I used to have this problem until I got older & no longer have low blood pressure. But I'd get checked out by a doctor and tell them what is happening because could be something totally different. Hope you feel better soon.

Naturopathic doctors go to a 4 year medical school but there are some fake naturopaths getting online degrees claiming to be doctors. People should be careful and make sure the naturopathic doctor they are seeing is actually a graduate from one of the accredited Naturopathic schools.

Affection helps with my anxiety, whenever im anxious, and I get a hug or anything similar, I instantly feel better (not like "oh, no more anxiety", but calmer), and that's basically the solution I found to when my anxiety comes, I just go to my loved ones and be like "i need a hug, stay with me for a while, please"
I got urinary infection twice because I was holding it in too long since I didn’t know how to ask in English to go to the bathroom...yeah my advice is to just go anyway and not risk it

I don't hold my pee but since my body does not tell i need to pee i do not pee for almost 24h not kidding. I don't get that weird feeling. I always forget to use the bathroom. And wen i use the bathroom its like i did pee wen i hold it for almost 24h. (･-･)

Hi, Vet Nurse here. A dog has fewer bacteria of a more harmful nature within their mouths than within a human mouth. If you have a dog, they tend to expose themselves to more bacteria than a human as well, but the varying bacterias cancel each other out with the stronger bacteria surviving. When you are exposed to these bacteria in small amounts, like when a dog licks you, it enables you to build up a tolerance to this bacteria and can actually help you as long as you are not immunocompromised. As long as you and your animal are clean, ie. bathed and brushed teeth, frequently it is perfectly safe for your dog to give you a kiss. The same cannot be said for cats, however, as cats excrete more harmful pathogens than dogs do, clean themselves (ie lick themselves) more frequently, and are exposed to baths far less than dogs so they can be far worse for your health than a dog lick. So, cat owners, try to bathe your cats more frequently and not allow yourselves to be scratched in the process...easier said than done...i know.
