  • Umm yeah, It's better if you don't drink water during having or eating your meal. Not just during but it's said not to drink water under 30mins after eating. Why? Well, i think it's certainly because enzymes . As we know that enzymes are highly specific i.e..they work on specific temperature and concentration... Yeah. And drinking water can probably disturb that right amount of concentration and temperature too resulting in not so good digestion of food. So, yeah...That's all i know about this.

  • I have a question. What do you do when you've been to every doctor and nobody knows what's wrong with you (you can only answer this short part if you want). I have a condition where (mostly) at night, when I try to relax or sleep, I lay down and my head begins to spin with a heavy/sinking feeling and my heart rate goes up. It feels like the right side of my face is being pulled to the floor, like I've taken a really strong drug. It is hard to breathe, I have painful tingling and stiffness crawl down my arms with pretty severe nerve pain and I now can't sleep without the fear that this will happen. The pain radiates through my body and makes it so I can't accomplish much, often it feels like I'm seizing and I get the shivers as well. The stiffness/tingling is that feeling you get when you lay on your arm and it's on its way to becoming numb, but it never goes numb and stays in that painful tingling faze. For hours. I get lightheaded and chest pain as well. I try to sleep but my body won't let me because it feels like if I do fall asleep I won't wake up. I can't find a doctor who doesn't just bring up stress as a factor because their tests aren't telling them anything. You know what's stressful? Feeling like you're almost dying every. Single. Night. And having no answers. I've missed a lot of work because of this and I worry my loved ones constantly. It happens during the day now too so it's only getting worse. I don't know if you've run into this with anyone else or even have an opinion, and I kind of doubt you'll respond to me because this is a long one and doesn't seem video worthy. I was just curious what you thought. Thanks, I appreciate it.

  • I became anosmic from picking my nose as a kid. Desert air would completely dry and swell my nose shut over night in the dry season, so I'd rip out the dead hardened swollen blob of skin that was the entire inside of my nose every morning that it happened so I could breathe. Did that for years before I figured out I could just soak my nose in some tap water cupped in my hands for a minute and it would rehydrate and unswell it so I could use it without ripping it out. It was too late for my sense of smell at that point though, the inside of my nose is entirely scar tissue. Now that I'm an adult I just buy and use saline nasal spray though. If you get some make sure it's doesn't have drugs in it, because most of them come with drugs (antihistamine and such) that dry out your sinuses now. Making you use it more, so that you buy more. Super unhealthy to be constantly dosing with antihistamines and such too, especially when you didn't need it in the first place. Also don't forget to wipe it off with alcohol after each use.

  • If you say that the flu virus evolves just like how we evolved to get here, that doesn't make sense. The flu is NOT changing species - it's adapting to the toxins against it, similar to roaches who become resistant to pesticides. If you want to compare the evolution of our coming from monkeys, then that would be like using anti-virals enough that the flu becomes a mouse. By the way, evolution doesn't happen. You can't gain information from nothing unless there's consciousness and last I checked, a virus doesn't have a consciousness. Adaptation, my friend. Love your channel!

  • 7 months late but I got you mike. Q:"How much feet are in 7 minutes? Yes or no." A: Yes, the average walking speed for a human is 4.7fpm and average running speed is 775fpm. If we multiply them both by 7mins then you get anywhere between 32.9 and 5425 (give or take). So yes Mike, there is no such thing as a dumb question but your answer was 😁

  • Hey, I am a family medicine resident in Germany. On the subject of chest compressions: obviously don´t do chest compression if you are 100% sure that person has a pulse, is breathing and healthy. However I don´t think doing chest compressions on a beating heart is problematic. In Germany the recommended way to go about defibrillation is to do another 2 minutes of chest compressions before even checking if the heart has started back into a rythm. This is an american website from the university of Arizona supporting that (there might be better websites, I was to lazy to look for longer) They say the following: Can you damage someone’s heart if you perform CPR while it is beating? The physicians and scientists at the Sarver Heart Center, have found that the old saying "Never perform CPR on beating heart" is not valid. According to these professionals, the chances that a bystander could harm a person by pressing on their chest are slim to none, even if the heart is working normally. Therefore, they recommend following the "Better safe than sorry" approach and begin chest compressions. It is better to perform a few unnecessary chest compressions for someone with a beating heart, rather than withhold chest compressions and circulation from someone in cardiac arrest.
